Rapid RoboFlail Vario D401 initial presentation and introduction of the competence centre

Its power is barely visible from the outside. It is compact and easy to operate. The powerful 38 hp diesel engine from Yanmar in combination with the direct mechanical implement drive makes the Vario D401 a wolf in sheep's clothing. The Vario D401 closes the gap between the two models Vario D251 and Vario D501.

At this exclusive event for the trade press, we were able to present several Rapid Technic milestones at our caterpillar production site. The newly equipped production hall in Mennwangen is the heart of the Rapid crawler competence centre. From the initial idea to design, production, customer service and servicing, all work steps relating to the radio-controlled crawlers are carried out by Rapid employees in the Deggenhausertal region. Alongside the first Rapid RoboFlail One D252 model, which was handed over to customers from production, the new Rapid RoboFlail Vario D401 was presented to the trade press. The new versatile radio-controlled implement carrier closes the gap between the 25 and 50 hp machines. The machine is - typically Rapid - robustly built, designed for tough mulching jobs in difficult conditions and easy to operate. The crawler chassis, which functions perfectly in every situation thanks to its pendulum rollers, can be extended and retracted steplessly and independently of each other. Travelling in narrow tracks or on steep slopes, for example, where a wide support is required for tipping stability, is uniquely easy and safe. The standard interface with the three-point linkage allows the operation of a wide range of attachments. The new product will be presented to the public for the first time at the upcoming GaLaBau trade fair in Nuremberg.
