Area of use
With the optional outsole, the cutting height of finger and municipal bars can be increased continuously from approx. 4 cm to approx. 8 cm. This makes it easy to adapt to different requirements in grassland maintenance and municipal use.
A greater cutting height has advantages both in terms of plant cultivation and process engineering. It promotes rapid regrowth of the crop, reduces the risk of drying out and minimises forage contamination. It also reduces wear and tear on machinery and improves the efficiency of subsequent operations, improving the trafficability of extreme areas on steep slopes, as stands are sustainably strengthened/established thanks to greater cutting heights. Tread sole, infinitely adjustable up to approx. 8 cm Cutting height is also an increasingly important issue for applications with the communal bar outside of grassland farming. In addition to the longer service life, the focus is certainly on the composition of the crops, especially on flower strips, flower meadows, biodiversity areas, etc., which are increasingly in demand and being promoted.
