Area of use
The innovative attachment accelerates the drying process – powerfully, evenly and reliably. Laborious manual labour with pitchforks or blowers? History. The Worber brings real, mechanised power to the slope – for optimum forage quality. The combination machine comprising a single-axle walk-behind tractor and the Worber attached without tools works conveniently and safely in forward travel. The accelerated drying effect is clearly noticeable.
The term «tedding» does not refer to the process of turning over completely, but rather the «shaking, dispersing and mixing» of cut material. The target terrain and target users are fields and farmers of grassland on slopes that can no longer be accessed with conventional equipment (often rotary tedders mounted on tractors).
The attachment is operated in safe forward travel and can generally be used wherever «mowing» and «turning» are carried out.
Success factors
- Faster drying: Shorter drying times thanks to optimal air circulation
- Consistent results: Uniform drying thanks to improved exposure to sunlight and mixing.
- Safe on slopes: Maximum stability when moving forwards
- Weather-independent quality: High-quality forage even in wet conditions or during brief sunny spells
- Efficiency instead of manual labour: Greater convenience with significantly less time and effort required.
- Easier follow-up work: Simplified swathing and clearing thanks to loose crop material.
- Clean edge finishing: Efficient raking of field edges in reverse.
